As an early winter solstice celebration, and just in time for holiday shopping, the National Park Service will host its annual Winter Solstice Art Sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sun., Dec. 2 at Satwiwa Native American Indian Culture Center, at Lynn Road and Via Goleta, Newbury Park.
More than a dozen Native American artists from various tribes will show and sell paintings, ceramics, stone carvings, dream catchers, gourds and musical instruments.
All ages are welcome, and the program and parking are free.
