The next morning I rode many of the trails in the valley of Rowher Flat. You can see Falls Canyon Truck Trail at the top of the picture. Are these the falls from which the canyon gets its name?

A panormamic view of two staging areas and the trails below.

A jeep on Rowher Trail. That trail was too steep for me to attempt

Lookout Trail ahead of me and Rowher Trail in the distance. Can you see the jeep on it?...
... zoom in a bit and it's easier to see the jeep!

Can you still see the jeep?

In the afternoon I went back up to Sierra Pellona Mtwy. The bulldozer had just been through tearing up the ridgeline routes. They were all torn up like this, end to end. That's too loose for me to try to ride!

A closer look. I guess they don't want people using these roads.

I saw this road yesterday from a little higher up and today I'm about to ride down to the bottom
I guess this is to catch debris and keep it from blocking the road
The next one I saw was almost burried with debris

Toady was colder than yesterday and from the top I can see snow on the mountains in the distance to the south-east. A crow was flying by as I snapped this photo.

A closer look at the distant mountains. I'm not sure, but it sure looks like snow. Those mountains are the San Gabriels, and at 9-9000', are twice as high as the ridge I'm on.

As I was leaving, I stopped to take this photo. The major road across the way is the Texas Canyon Truck Trail. Just left of top-center you can see the Falls Canyon Truck Trail climbing to the ridge. Most of the Play Area trails and staging areas are out of sight at the far right.
