Parts of the trail were very very rocky
It looks like someone lost a brake pedal
All of a sudden, the trail became wider and much smoother where a masticator had come up from the bottom
This must turn into a torrent when it rains hard
A little lower down, the trail was completely shaded
Very smooth and clear here from the masticator
This section had a bit of poison oak, but nothing that was difficult to avoid
Contemplating where the geocache is hidden here
The lower end of the Nordhoff Ridge Fireroad on the other side of the valley
It's not all smooth after the masticator has been through
A giant puff-ball has spilled its spores on the trail
Rehiding a geocache, the second last one on the trail
Group shot back at the start, picking up the car we left there. You can see the trail behind us (red arrow).
