This is the famous "Great Cask", also known as the world's largest wine barrel. It is 23 feet tall and holds 58,000 gallons. It was built in 1751. Unfortunately it leaked, so it didn't get used much.

This smaller barrel is only 1/3 the size of the Great Cask.

This church is really straight on the near side, but the panaramic photo makes it looked curved.

You can take a cablecar from town up to the castle, and then up to the top for a great view and snack.

There is only one track for the two cars, one going up and the other going down. They pass in the middle.
