There was going to be a running event the day after I was there. What a route to run - long, very steep in places, very rocky along much of it, and over 13000' high at the top!

Looking back at Black Bear Pass Road, you can barely see another waterfall at the top left, Ingram Falls.

There's a ledge here about 2/3 of the way up, with people on the trail there. See them?

On the way back, there wasn't a group of people milling around the sign, so I was able to get my picture taken with it.

Heading back down Camp Bird Road towards Ouray.

There were several structures like this at Lower Camp Bird, abandoned and boarded up, where workers used to live. It looks like it's in good shape from this distance.
