To get to the community park from the west side, we need to hike past the service yard.

Hiking past the service yard
Starting off up the Edison Road, there are lots of Cliff Asters in bloom at the edge of the road.
Looking for the first geocache along our route...
... Ultimately we gave up, the cache unfound. Not a great start to the hike :-(
To make up for our first miss, we found this one really quickly.
This was a tricky one to find
It was hidden in the corner post!
Making sure the GPSs are set right to get to the next cache location.
Here it is, at the base of the post
A pretty waterfall next to Westlake Blvd
We had to cross Westlake Blvd because there was no sidewalk next to the park
Getting back into the park, some people went over the fence...
... and some went under the fence.
There's the cache, nestled in the rocks.
This cache was plainly visible, but was hard to see and took a lot of looking to find it.
There's a little bit of swag in this cache.
