Hiking the Potrero Ridge and other Dos Vientos Trails on March 15, 2015, as part of the Conejo Open Space Challenge

The gate to the parking area was locked when we arrived about 8:15, so we parked across the street.

We took the Sumac Trail on the way out and came back on the Sierra Vista Trail

There were a few California poppies along the trail here

We could see the Channel Islands from here. If we'd come around the other way, we wouldn't have noticed them behind us

On the switchbacks that bring us back to the start
