View of our route, looking west over Potrero Ridge in Dos Vientos, with Camarillo in the distance
The gate to the parking area was locked when we arrived about 8:15, so we parked across the street.

Starting up the Potrero Ridge Trail from the Reino trailhead
On the Potrero Ridge Trail, Boney Mountain is in the distance
Boney Mtn really isn't very far away!
There are bush sunflowers everywhere!
We took the Sumac Trail on the way out and came back on the Sierra Vista Trail
There were a few California poppies along the trail here
Unlike the poppies, there were morning glories all over
We could see the Channel Islands from here. If we'd come around the other way, we wouldn't have noticed them behind us
We get a good view of Boney Mtn from the Sierra Vista Trail
There's a bee hive in the underground concrete box behind the green mesh box
See the bees?
More trailside flowers. These ones are very faintly colored
Bush sunflowers again
