The Rustic Canyon Trail, not far from the trailhead in Will Rogers State Historic Park.

When we get to the stream, the route is a combination of an old trail that hasn't been washed away yet, and climbing across the boulders.
The route is very shady and cool with the running stream

Notice the sign in the upper left?

Back in Rustic Canyon, we missed this little sign and the steps. But it worked out well - otherwise we would have missed the bottom of the dam and the waterfall.

The Rustic Canyon Trail upstream of the dam is out of the creek for the most part

Even though we're not in the stream, it's still nice and shady - wonderful on a hot day!

The first of the ruins we came to
This chimney was only about 100' from the previous one
This old stable was a little further along the trail
Another old structure, a little ways from the trail
This old structure was very well decorated!
