Dear Friend of the Santa Monica Mountains:
The National Park Service announces the unveiling of the Design Master Plan for the enhancement of the Cheeseboro Canyon trailhead. The National Park Service and its consultant, EDAW, Inc. invite local residents to attend a public meeting on May 2, 2006 at the Agoura Hills/Calabasas Community Center, 27040 Malibu Hills Road, Calabasas, CA beginning at 6:30 pm.
The National Park Service and EDAW will present the master planning effort by way of maps, plans and graphics, in a power point format
There are several ways for you, a park visitor, to participate:
A). Attend the public
meeting
B). View Ihe plans and graphics which will
be available online at www.nps.gov/samo/accesstrail
on May 5. The public may then submit comments by:
• turning in written
comments at the meeting
• fax comments to (803) 370-1850
• e-mail comments to samo_accesstrail@nps.gov (site available May 5)
• Further information may be obtained by calling (805) 370-2331
• Comment period ends June 2,2006.
